 Mumble is an open-source (i.e. completely Free, like Firefox, OpenOffice et al.) app that does exactly the same job and for Windows/Mac people, it's download and go.
I have spoken to the guys at mumble-tower.com and they have agreed to host a complete free server for us, in return for a link back to their site.
The server info page is here, which includes all the detail to get started. If there is enough interest, I can create private rooms for guilds, but currently there is simply the Lobby, the Staff Room and 4 spare rooms. The spare rooms are there for group hunts etc.
The software is fantastic, and exceeds expectation in terms of quality. If you have a sound card with good drivers, it'll even do echo cancellation. It can be downloaded here, just click on the "Stable" version for Windows or Mac. Linux players, well we can just type "apt-get install mumble" or select it in our package managers!
